クリスマス・マーケット東川

東川町のギャラリーZENにて、11月26日から12月19日まで開催されるクリスマスマーケット東川に参加することになりました。

15年前に千葉で伐採した白樫でつくったカッティングボードと、ナイフで削り出したメープルとチェリーのバタナイフ、スウェーデンの木彫の馬（ダーラヘスト）を販売いたします。クリスマスの贈り物にいかがでしょうか？

カッティングボードは1枚の木片を2つに割いて、ブックマッチと呼ばれる左右対象木目のペアにした、食器としてお使いいただける小さめのボードです。朝食のパンや、お菓子をのせたり、ちょっとしたおかずやチーズをのせてお使いいただけます。

バターナイフはチェリーとメープルの家具づくりの端材から、1本1本ナイフで削り出したものです。

近所で伐採された白樺の枝と森で拾った松毬や蔓、栗のいがでつくった、クリスマスツリーも展示しています。

A cutting board is a small board that can be used as tableware by splitting one piece of wood into two and making a pair of left and right symmetrical wood grain called a book match. You can use it for breakfast bread, sweets, or a little side dish or cheese... Butter knives are carved from cherry and maple furniture scraps one by one with a knife.

A Christmas tree made from birch branches cut down in the neighborhood, pine cones, vines, and chestnuts picked up in the forest is also on display.
